Day #1! Laughter
As a reader, I am not a fan of gory scary books. I like mysteries and realistic fiction, but my favorites are fantasy and historical fiction. No matter what I am reading, though, humor makes the story more enjoyable. If I can laugh along with my main character, or laugh at something that character has done, I feel a part of the scene and I enjoy the book even more. One of my favorite authors who does this well is Susan Stec, author of Dead Girls Never Shut Up.

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog. This blog flash thing is fun! I will have to check out that author because I have never found a humour book of fiction that made me laugh out loud. Thanks for the tip!
Susan Stec has a number of books out and all are very funny!
I don’t read books that most people consider funny all that often but when I do I remember how much I need to read something light once in a while. Thanks for sharing that book – I hadn’t heard of it and it sounds really good.
I’ve never done a BlogFlash before –this is fun. Please be sure to leave the URL to your blog when you visit mine so others can find it. Thanks – Bobbie

I can’t wait to read Dead Girls. I love Susan’s humor!
I have to agree: I don’t like anything excessively gory or violent. A book that makes me laugh will always stick in my mind!
