  1. Congratulations Katherine and Kadin! It was a great novel madness round when we went against you. I especially liked your arguements about the adventure in Harry Potter. Although many books have adventures in them, not many match up to Harry Potter’s quests! The way you presented the novel made it seem extremely enjoyable. The Hobbit presenters wish you good luck in your future presentations. I know they will be excellent!

  8. The main reason why I decided not to vote for Matilda and instead vote for you was because I didn’t want the book that I had lost to to win. Actually, I didn’t read the entire Harry Potter book because I thought the beginning was boring. But winning is winning, so I say congratulations. I’m sure the Hobbit was really hard to beat.

  10. Congratulations Katherine and Kadin for for winning the Novel Madness! You were really great out there, but I think that you guys should have changed the essay a little more because since you kept repeating some of the parts in your old essays. I wasn’t that hooked into your essay. Your points for voting for your book was great, but repeating your hook three times wasn’t really working for me. In the end, you guys did win and I am proud of you for all your efforts you did to win this contest. 🙂
