A community is a group of people with similar passions. I belong to a number of very special communities like family and neighborhood. At work, my colleagues and I are elementary school teachers working to impart knowledge with a minimum of state funding…and without a contract, but that’s another post. I’m also part of an online writing community, TheNextBigWriter.com, which is a group that reads and reviews each other’s work in progress. We also celebrate successes and encourage each other through low spots. And isn’t that what a community is for?
