Novel Madness marches on! Today the semifinals were held and two books moved on to the finals. My students are quite excited as we narrow it down to a winner. Hopefully you will be, too!

As you know, Matilda squared off against Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. In the other battle, Hobbit was matched with Lightning Thief. All four of these books are class favorites, so it was really hard to see two go.

Our final matchup will be between:

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

and

Hobbit

This will be an interesting debate and a close vote, I’m sure! Stay tuned for the results.
